Web/CMS Developer

Position Summary

We are currently seeking a web application developer to join our fun and dynamic web content management system team. You will have the opportunity to design and build leading-edge, user-friendly content management solutions for a high-profile, international client base. As well, you will be working in a creative, fast-paced work environment with plenty of social perks.

The ideal candidate will have experience in web application development, with skills including ASP, HTML, CSS, client- and server-side scripting, and website configuration and deployment. Any SQL Server, ASP.NET, and/or other object-oriented programming experience, as well as any client-facing experience, would be a definite asset.

The candidate must possess strong interpersonal and team skills, with a proactive outlook and the ability to find creative solutions and a desire to learn new technologies . The ability to comprehend business drivers outside the developer scope would be an asset.

Responsibilities:

Perform requirements analysis of client websites or web concepts to be implemented in a web content management solution
Design and document CMS architecture
Work closely with project managers to plan and meet deliverables
Develop and manage tasks and deliverables
Deploy finished projects to client environments
Prepare documentation for content authors and administrators
Deliver onsite client training
Some business travel required.

Required Skills:

ASP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, and/or other web scripting languages
Web application development and configuration
Analysis and documentation
Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
Ability to work independently and proactively
Client-facing “soft skills”: communication and leadership

Assets:

ASP.NET (1.1 or 2.0)
SQL Server
XML-based applications
Experience with content management systems
