Intermediate SEM Specialist

The Search Engine Marketing (SEM) area of practice has enabled us to consistently drive qualified, targeted traffic to our client’s sites. As the demand for this offering is increasing among our client base, we are looking to add a new member to our SEM team.

• Interact and work with clients to manage successful SEM campaigns
• Execute search engine marketing campaigns for a range of clients, which includes the following activities:
• Keyword Research
• Organic Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
• Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Campaign creation and management
• Benchmarking and Evaluation
• Reporting and Analysis
• Link Building
• Understanding and Leveraging Emerging Technologies and Techniques
• Work effectively with the SEM Lead, Project Managers, Developers, and other team members to deliver results

Must-have Qualifications:

• Experience running search engine marketing activities, including organic SEO and PPC campaigns (in-house or agency)
• Thorough knowledge of search engines and the Internet
• Understanding of fundamental marketing principles, particularly in the on-line sphere
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges
• At least 1 year related work experience
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Degree or diploma in marketing, communications, e-business or similar

• Previous employment in an agency / services firm setting
• Demonstrated past successes
• Basic HTML knowledge
• An honest excitement about the online marketing sphere
