As president and co-founder, Shannon sets the bar for delivering measurable results and proving business impact – offering value to all levels within the client organization. 

Shannon is responsible for building non-linear creations into the multimillion-dollar company it is today; revenues have increased by 800% over 11 years and the company’s reach is worldwide. From concept to bottom-line impact, Shannon leverages the potential of the Internet by building custom strategies for business-driven clients of all sizes and from any sector.

Always nominated by his colleagues for industry awards, Shannon has cemented his position in an international network of Internet authorities. A snapshot of his speaking engagements include Safeguard Scientifics’ Think Again conference, Paine Webber's Growth and Technology conference, and the Ontario Exporter Awards. He is a regular and reliable source of information for the media about web strategy, execution and metrics.

With a proven record of building lasting relationships, Shannon’s unique business experience offers clients more than expertise in web services. In senior roles before non-linear creations, Shannon raised USD $21.5 million in financing for a software analytics company, and recruited teams of developers from Russia and drove sales activities in Siberia for a software company in the oil extraction industry. 

Shannon holds a B.A. in Soviet and Eastern European Studies from Carleton University and a Masters in International Business from the University of Vienna. An avid world traveler and art collector, Shannon can speak fluent Russian.

As co-founder and EVP, Randy uses his strengths in business analytics and his tech-forward thinking to continually propel non-linear creations as a leader in the web services industry. 

Randy “gets the job done”, and as such, he is an expert at identifying the business needs of clients regardless of the sector or size.  With 11+ years managing non-linear creations, he has significant experience in developing winning strategies when the economic climate ebbs and flows.  As business coach and mentor, Randy leverages the depth and breadth of technology and Internet opportunity for clients to make money, save money and extend business.
 
Randy understands and has practiced all cycles of business from the creation and participation in Boards of Directors and Advisories to negotiating acquisitions and corporate operations.  He was acknowledged for his business savvy as a recent recipient of the Ottawa Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 award.

Managing the day-to-day business of non-linear creations, Randy is responsible for the execution, results and growth of the company.  He draws on his experience at the helm of a software analytics company, where he realized a 300% growth in the firm’s revenues, raised USD $21.5 million and directed 100+ employees in eight global offices. 

Randy holds an M.A. in Canadian Studies from Carleton University and was awarded the Senate Medal for academic achievement. He’s a licensed private pilot, and is actively involved in whitewater kayaking, mountain biking and scuba diving.

Daniel guides the company's success with thoughtful leadership and progressive management skills, banking on 13 years of experience in business consulting and project management.

Since joining the company in 1998, Daniel has played a pivotal role in NLC’s operations; he oversees staffing and makes key strategic decisions.
He is an authority on web usability, design and Internet technology and leverages this knowledge to produce truly remarkable websites and applications.

Within the last twelve months, Daniel has personally managed projects for clients including the Auditor General of Canada, The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria, Telus Mobility, Heritage Canada and Statistics Canada.

Prior to his tenure at non-linear, Daniel worked for over nine years as a project manager at the National Capital Commission (NCC).

Fluent in both English and French, Daniel holds a Social Sciences and Business degree from the University of Ottawa.  He’s a ferocious squash player and an avid outdoorsman.
